Who we are:
Moto Business Service Nigeria was incorporated as a limited liability company and as a subsidiary of Yamaha Motor Coy Limited in November 2021 with the aim of expanding mobility service businesses in Nigeria. The company will start the leasing of motorcycles to Max.ng, a local mobility service provider that offers motorcycle rentals and other services.
MBSN will run an asset management business by leasing motorcycles to Mobility as a Service (MaaS) operators providing services for vehicle sharing, taxis, logistics, and more. By creating job opportunities through our business, the company will contribute to improving the quality of life for people in Nigeria.
MBSN aims to provide labour savings in logistics operations as well as provide solutions to mobility issues in areas where public transportation is unavailable or not easily accessible.
MBSN will aim to expand Yamaha Motor’s mobility service business in Nigeria through collaborations with Max.ng and other platformers going forward.
MBSN team shall be known as a dynamic, proactive, and customer focused team dedicated to giving our customers the best and most secure services aligned with a seamless and exciting service platform.

Kobayashi is a distinguished financial strategist with over three decades of experience in banking and corporate finance. Currently serving as General Manager of the MSB Division at Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd., he brings a wealth of global expertise, having previously led international credit operations as Managing Director at Mitsubishi UFJ Bank in Singapore. Since joining Yamaha in 2022, Kobayashi has played a pivotal role in shaping growth strategies within the MSB Division. A graduate of Waseda University with a BA in Commerce, he also contributes to broader corporate governance as a non-executive director and advisor at MBSN, demonstrating his commitment to strategic leadership and cross-border financial excellence.

Okada is a seasoned financial executive with nearly three decades of experience at Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd., where he currently serves as General Manager of the Finance & Accounting Division. His career spans international leadership, including his role as CFO of Yamaha Motor Finance USA from 2015 to 2016, and strategic financial planning as Group Leader of the Financial Strategy Group. A graduate of Osaka University of Foreign Studies with a BA in Commerce, Okada combines deep financial expertise with global perspective. In addition to his corporate responsibilities, he contributes to broader industry governance as a non-executive director and management advisor at MBSN, underscoring his commitment to excellence and strategic insight in financial leadership.
